Fred Brooks

I’m 32 years old, married to my college sweetheart and just about to become a new daddy to a beautiful baby girl.  I’m originally from Syracuse, NY but have been living in Southern California for about 11 years.

After receiving my degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from Clarkson University, I moved west to pursue a career as an Engineer managing major construction projects in Southern California.  I was a high performer for the company that I worked for and quickly climbed the ladder to a high position which was accompanied by a very nice salary.  Over the 10 years that I worked in the industry, the career that was once my passion, slowly became a daily grind that was draining every ounce of life out of me. Working 60 to 80 hour weeks and then spending another 15 hours per week in LA traffic started to take its toll on me.  My health was in the toilet, my relationships were in the toilet, I was unhappy and I felt like I was on a conveyor belt just watching my life pass by.  After my father passed away at the early age of 55, I started to take a close look at how I was living my life.  I realized that I’m not in control of how long I may live on this planet and that I was going to live my life the way I dreamed it was possible and not accept life just being a vicious cycle of sleep / eat / work.  Immediately I started looking for ways to create freedom in my life so that I could spend all my time with the people I loved doing the things that I enjoy most. For a whole year I was looking for different opportunities and vehicles that would generate enough passive income for me to leave my job and pursue the life of my dreams.  On March 15th, 2011 a friend of mine handed me the opportunity I was searching for and that was Visalus.  In fact, I felt so strongly about the company, its mission, the people that it attracted and my ability to be successful in it, that I left my career of 10 years just 2 days after becoming a promoter for Visalus.  It was a leap of faith that has proven to be the turning point in my life and the best decision that I’ve ever made. I quickly transformed my health by losing 38 pounds of fat and gaining 11 pounds of muscle.  My relationship with my wife and my family is now one of happiness and love.  I work from home and am enjoying the complete freedom that comes along with living the “Vi-life” as we call it.  A life symbolized by life, health and prosperity.  The best part for me is that with Baby Isabella on the way, my wife and I will be able to raise her instead of being forced to have strangers raise her.  The other thing I love about Visalus is that I get to have a hand in helping transform the lives of other people both in their health and their finances.  It’s the most fulfilling opportunity that I’ve ever been a part of and I’m grateful for it every day.  I love my life! “In April of this year, I was tremendously overweight, had no energy, could not make it from paycheck to paycheck and drove a piece of crap car that I wondered every day,  “Will it start or strand me?” Now, 8+months later… I have lost 42 pounds, 13 inches, I have a ton of energy to play with my grandkids, drive a FREE 2011 Black BMW, (I’ve never owned a new car in my 57 years of life), and make as much money promoting the Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge as I do at my 40 hour a week job!!! The Challeneg has allowerd me to go off all my medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol, vitamin D and about 1600 mg of Motrin!!! I did this all in my first 90 Day Challenge. My next Challenge is to be able to do for others that have done for me and help others achieve their goals and live a happy, healthy prosperous life! WHAT A GREAT GIFT!!
